A3 Tavern Style

When people think of Chicago style pizza, they picture Deep Dish, but we locals think of a Thin Crust also known as Tavern Style. Back in the 1940s, this square cut pizza was made for sharing at, well, taverns. This pizza is the basis of Alexander James' most playful release yet.

In collaboration with Red5WatchWorks and AndoAndoAndo, the A3 Tavern Style uses an embossed dial that captures the look of a Chicago Tavern Style Pizza to near perfection. The dial is "sliced" into squares with grooves in the dial and features pepperonis that are raised above the cheese! If you look close enough, there are 3 pepperonis with logos of collaborators on them! 

The A3 Tavern style is powered by the suitably thin Miyota 9039 movement and is housed by the A3 case, first featured in the A3 Omens. The case and bracelet offer a more refined, premium finishing where you'll notice the various different cuts and finishing. The bracelet also features a tool-less microadjust clasp! 

Each A3 Tavern Style is hand tossed, put in the oven, and taste tested by AJ who has been eating pizza for over 30 years (and by that I mean assembled, regulated, and tested by AJ, who has been assembling watches for over 10 years).
