A Classic Reimagined with Mother of Pearl
Following the dual material dials of previous releases, the October Edition of the A5 Reserve combines the classic sunburst pattern with a Mother of Pearl Diamond Mosaic. The two colorways to start are white and blue.

Japanese Precision Movement
The A5 Reserve is powered by the reliable NH38, regulated to within -10/+20 seconds per day in house by Alexander James
Slim Case
While the TMI NH series of movements isn't known for its thinness, the metal portion of this case is just 10.4mm thick and utilizes a top hat style crystal to accommodate the thickness.
Leather Strap w/Fitwell Buckle
The typical Alexander James Leather with a croc pattern now upgrades its buckle with a Fitwell micro-adjust! Simply push and pull on the fitwell buckle untilt he spring bar locks into place.

Solidly built and aesthetically pleasing watch. Easy to adjust on the fly. Very comfortable to wear and keeps time really well. My only tiny complaint is I wish the MOP was a little more lustrous, but the point is for it to be like you're looking at a galaxy/stars, so even with a more muted color, it easily achieves the desired effect. Very pleased with both the design and build.

The watch outperformed my $750 Movado quartz in my collection. This is an amazingly priced watch that has a nice classic design and feel. You can’t go wrong with it, and you really might only lose a few seconds a year. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a watch they won’t have to re-set the time every few months, after a year of usage, this watch hasn’t lost a single minute.
This is my first purple watch, and I waited for the right one. The color of these watches (both blue and purple) is even better in the metal: you have to see them in person!
